So I'm sitting here in the computer lab... An hour until I have to show up for work. God I hate work. The only glee I get is when I get the alumnus to give the school money, and when they do, I hate myself for I just talked a lady who put her dog thru $1200 surgery to give even more money, along with her having given all of her money for tuition.
God hates me...
Anyway. I should go grab some grub before work.
v_v everyone I kno is either in class or filming or at work v_v I miss people. And that's what he can't get through his head. I dont put friends here before him. I just...need to be around people. I'm not a loner. I hate him sometimes, for being a loner. And needing me so much. I cant take that kind of stress. So I dont pick up the phone. And when I do, we fight about me not picking up the phone and me not telling him what I doing before I do it. Like my mother, ugh. She always made me tell her exactly what I was going to do before she'd let me out of the house. Best Friend is not my mother, and I refuse to let him do that

I can't help it. I'll let it happen. Just like with dave. I'm too damn nice, I think. I should be an arse? mayhaps... He doesnt ask me to do something to help him, he tells me. But it's just the way he is, he has a commanding personality, and I am his secretary. I make sure he gets to class when he stays up late being a lush and a touch overrated. But it's ok, cuz I dont mind it. He's just like my older sister...in fact a lot like it. I do things for I don't mind helping others, especially when they need it. Aye mi dio.

Anyway
Ive just completed an 11 hour work thingie with editing my second film
Thats right, I dont do my editing in chunks like all the other smart kids, I sit down and goshdawnit I have to finish it before I stand up
and thats what I did
for 11 straight hours
its amazing was coffee, tea, and coca cola can do
oh and also the impending doom of the project being due weighing over your head

anywho, Im REALLY tired and I need to get to class so ill write more later!

So here I am, at film school. Oh la la
Rochester at this time of year is beautiful. Wonderful weather (75 deg. with a cool breeze), except with the rain. god i hate rain. And there's also the mosquitos; I plum forgot that they exist in the northeastern area too. *damn*
So my first assignment that's cool is that I have to make a movie with a bolex camera. (other assignments, not so cool sounding: find three images that are non representational alone, but together they mean something, research the invention of the computer, and read a crapload of your textbook in one night (100 pages!).

But anyway, back to my cool assignment: We're using old-timey cameras that film on film in a roll (OOoo). They're black and white, and you have to wind them so you can only get a 30 second shot at a time. And we have to make a movie with 100 ft of film, 3 minutes.

So with all that in mind...any ideas? C'mon, I gotta storyboard it by wednesday.

Dear god I hate my work study job, mainly cuz theres so much information you have to memorize. I wish I had a job where all I had to do was do what I know how to do (if u cant tell already, i just woke up) but yes, at this job I call alumni and ask them to give money. Oy ve. I hate it I hate it, but it beats serving food in the cafeteria.

Ok so the whole tale is told on FOD so I wont go into much detail. Erm. Well Right now im in my dorm, not really settled in and not much time to do so cuz of damn orientation gatherings that take up every second of my time. Classes dont start til the sixths so why am i here a week early? Cuz of orientation, where they slowly dip u into the hot water of college, rather than dropping you in like most places. Yeah I went to a theme park today, which was cool. Kinda boring, got motion sick, had mostly carnival rides, but still cool. Whoo field trip! and then did other stuff. More stuff tomorrow, whoohoo.
Ok I gotta go to bed soon, my roomie is sleeping cuz she does that...early like this, Dear god its awful. Oh well, Ill deal, hang out in other dorm rooms, etc.
